Congratulations to all our Y12 students!

Congratulations to everyone who came together to raise money for an array of wonderful charities and causes this last week as part of the College’s annual Social Action Week.

#hillssocialaction is a period where Y12 students are encouraged to actively participate in the wider community, not only so they can become more responsible citizens but help those in need.

This year, students raised an incredible £40,374.38 for charities that operate locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Each group put an amazing amount of thought and effort into how to raise awareness and money for their chosen charities.

Whether it was through bake sales, washing cars, face painting, walking, running, cycling, or even dancing, our Y12 students found a way to engage with the wider community, spread their chosen charities message, and raise a substantial amount of money that will go great lengths to helping some fantastic causes.

A special mention needs to be made to those groups who won an award for the extra special effort they put into their charitable campaigns.

  • Most Creative: Camping for Disaster
  • Project most linked to cause: Night Walk for CRCC
  • Group showing most teamwork: Fight for Sight
  • Best Presentation: Active for Act
  • Best Social media Campaign: Punt4Ukraine
  • Most Money Raised: Tom’s fundraisers

Thank you to all our Y12s and all their supporters for this incredible achievement! We’re so proud of you!
