The centre is set to open in Spring 2023, and it is at a stage in construction where Principal Jo Trump and Mr. Zeichner were able to tour the building and discuss its future use as a state-of-the-art study hub built to accommodate increasing numbers of A level students.

Students questioned Mr. Zeichner in the lecture theatre about life in Westminster, and issues pertaining to his constituency such as local buses, NHS funding, and schools.

Mr. Zeichner’s visit came at a pivotal time for the college as Senior Leaders seek to improve the provision of post-16 education locally with a fresh and exciting proposal to open a second site, Hills Road North, to reduce travel-to-learn times and increase opportunities for more students in an area of rapid population growth.

"I had a great visit to Hills Road Sixth Form College on Friday. It was great to see the improvements they are making to their college and to speak to some of the A level Politics students.
