The College is delighted that 17% of grades awarded were A*, almost double the national average, while 47% were awarded at A–A*, almost 20% above the national average. Over three quarters of grades were at A* - B and 99.9% of grades awarded were A*–E.

Extended Project results also set a new College record for the third year in a row, with more than one in four projects securing an A*.

Alongside their clear strength in academic studies, this year's Year 13 cohort has made a significant contribution to College life over the last two years through sport, performing arts, volunteering and student leadership.

These experiences help develop the confidence, skills and knowledge that prepare students for life beyond the classroom.

Many Hills Road students will now progress to their first choice destinations: leading universities, higher and degree apprenticeships, employment and other exciting opportunities.

Year 13 students were invited to the Hub this morning to celebrate their achievements. Staff wished them well as they enjoyed well-earned treats and refreshments, and shared their plans for university, apprenticeships, employment and other future pathways.

Today marks the first Results Day for Hills Road as part of the Hills Education Trust, established in September 2025, as well as the final Results Day under the leadership of Principal Jo Trump.

Jo offered her warm congratulations:

"Congratulations to our class of 2026 on their achievements. These results reflect the commitment that this cohort have shown throughout their time at Hills Road, supported by the expertise and dedication of our staff. We wish every student every success as they take their next steps."
