The Life Drawing Summer School course is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists interested in drawing the human form.
Enrol now for the available days
Throughout the Life Drawing Summer School course, you will focus on various exercises such as how to measure and capture proportions of the human figure and face, how to observe light and shadow and render tone in different ways, how to master perspective and foreshortening, how to successfully plan and construct your overall composition, how to play and be more experimental using different styles, approaches and mediums.
Life Drawing Summer School is a five-day course with nude models. It is not a course where you just spend hours drawing, though there will be plenty of that. You will learn a variety of approaches, processes and strategies, and get to find your own creative voice.
Come prepared to think differently about how you see. Life drawing is one of the best ways to hone your observation skills and hand-eye coordination. Classes normally involve short poses in the morning and longer poses for more considered work in the afternoon. This course is suitable for all abilities.
To book a course, you will need to register online by clicking on the day you would like to attend. Please see the course information below the heading ‘Enrol now for the available days’.
