Jordan Ashman is a Hills Road Alumnus who studied at the College from 2020 to 2022. He studied Music Technology, Maths and Physics. In 2022, Jordan won the Young Musician of the Year Award, which was hosted by the BBC.

Jordan Ashman Wins BBC Young Musician of the Year

In 2022, Jordan Ashman won the prestigious Young Musician of the Year Award with a jaw-dropping televised performance of the Higdon Concerto with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Having competed in gruelling televised heats to make it to the final, it has been a long journey for Jordan who now joins the ranks of the most talented young musicians in the country. Even at these dizzy heights he remains grounded, humble and focused on his love of music.

I am really excited to pursue my musical career into the future. This has been a goal of mine for a long time, and Hills Road has played a really big part in helping me achieve my goals. I am really excited for the opportunities to come and I hope my love of music continues to grow.
