About

Henry Field in Year 13 has been gaining real-world media experience editing professional interview content for a local media platform.

Bridging the gap between education and industry, Year 13 Henry has been applying his computer science skills to professional video production.

Henry has been contributing to The Project Cambridge Show—a local media platform that showcases Cambridge’s science, technology, business, and community stories through interviews and video content.

As part of his role, he recently edited an episode featuring David Cleevely, gaining practical experience in video production rarely accessed at sixth form level.

With a strong interest in computer science, particularly machine learning and software development, Henry is applying technical skills in a real-world setting. His work on the show has also provided opportunities to engage with professionals across the Cambridge area, including interviews with MP Pippa Heylings.

His contribution has been recognised by The Project Cambridge Show founder, Jen Richardson, who commented:

“Henry has added so much value to our productions, put his own individual twist on things and has worked hard to ensure things are completed quickly when we have been time poor.”
