On 13 November, the team of students visited the Welcome Genome Campus, home of the EMBL-EBI, where the DNA the students extract from the snowdrops will be sequenced.
For one day, Y11 offer holders take part in three A level taster sessions and a Future Ready session, meet teachers, tutors and support staff, and explore the campus.
On 15 December, the Winter Ball returned to Hills Road. The event was organised by the Student Council and sold out with over 300 students in attendance. Everyone relished this special celebration which saw out the first term of the new academic year in style!
