International bestselling author, former Guardian journalist and former Hills Road parent Sarah Vaughn, read English at Brasenose College, Oxford and went on to train at the Press Association.

She is perhaps best known for her breakout thriller Anatomy of a Scandal, now a worldwide number-one Netflix series, as well as Little Disasters, recently adapted into an upcoming 'tense and compelling' TV drama to be released this Spring.

Sarah was told she couldn't be a journalist as she wasn't tough enough. Applying to Oxford, she was told to a women's college, or she would never get in. She ignored both bits of advice, and now, aims give Hills Road students the inspiration she never had aged 16-18! Sarah will talk about her career to date, overcoming challenges, and offer inspiring insights into working in the world of journalism, publishing or TV.
