The Introduction to Creative Writing course will help you to express yourself creatively! Ultimately, our life experiences determine how and what we express, so everyone has a story to tell.
Enrol now for the available days
Our Introduction to Creative Writing course provides a supportive environment for new writers who are primarily interested in prose fiction. Whether you’re just starting out, or already have some experience, this course will help you to hone your skills and meet others who share your passion for the written word.
This course will examine the writing you create, both in class and at home. Each week, every attendee will have the opportunity to share their work with the group. During these discussions, you’ll have the chance to receive feedback from others to improve your project and hone your own voice.
Looking at other people’s work will also be extremely helpful in understanding how you can make improvements to your own writing. Whether you’re discussing practical strategies for creating a narrative, character development, how to make dialogue believable or different methods of describing landscapes, objects and people, we hope to inspire you with the confidence to progress with your writing.
To book a course, you will need to register online by clicking on the day you would like to attend. Please see the course information below the heading ‘Enrol now for the available days’.
