About the course
Throughout the Dressmaking for Beginners course, you will learn what is required to make a variety of garments.
Within this course, you’ll learn a variety of different skills and techniques, including:
- An Introduction to the sewing machine
- Understanding dressmaking terminology
- How to work from a commercial sewing pattern
- How to take correct measurements
- A plethora of garment construction techniques
Depending on a student's pace, one or more basic garments may be produced throughout this 8-week course.
