Students celebrate outstanding A level results!

The results, released today, reflect the hard work and dedication of both students and staff. A significant number of students have achieved top grades, with 77% securing A* to B grades and 100% achieving A* to E grades. This impressive performance underlines the College’s commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering an environment where students can excel.

Today marks a moment when we can look back on the last two years and reflect on some of the brilliant experiences our Year 13 students have had while they’ve been at the College. There have been so many amazing memories for them, from joining the whole College fun run in Eco Week, through great events such as Culture Fest and raising nearly £40,000 during Social Action Week. Education is about many things – only one of which is qualifications, and we’re delighted that the qualification outcomes are just as impressive.

Principal Jo Trump expressed immense pride in the students’ achievements: “These outstanding results are a testament to the hard work and talent of our students who have demonstrated, once again, that the sky’s the limit. Our dedicated staff have used their expertise and experience to support our students to these exceptional outcomes. I am delighted that everyone’s efforts have been so richly rewarded. We wish all our students every happiness and all the best for their futures: which are bright!”

The College’s robust support system, which includes dedicated tutors, purpose-built facilities and a broad range of extracurricular activities is pivotal in preparing students for their exams. The emphasis on both academic and personal development ensures that students are well-equipped for future endeavours, whether they choose to continue their studies, take a gap year, go into an apprenticeship or enter the workforce.

The College, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a sixth-form college this year, extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the students and staff. We look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence and supporting future cohorts in achieving their academic goals.
