Our Life Drawing courses are open to students of all skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner eager to learn the fundamentals or an experienced artist looking to refine your technique, this course offers the ideal environment to grow and explore your creativity.
This course will cover the essential concepts of life drawing, including how to achieve accurate proportions and perspective. You'll explore a variety of mark-making techniques to develop and enhance your drawing skills.
Each session will begin with a demonstration, showing how to apply a key concept in practice. You'll then have the opportunity to explore these ideas yourself by drawing from both short and long poses with a live model.
By the end of the course, you'll have developed a sharper eye, become more analytical in your approach, and learned to truly question and understand what you’re seeing.
You’ll gain essential skills in observing the proportions, tonal values, and intricate structure of the human body. These observations will form the basis of your own expressive drawings, created in a range of styles, using diverse techniques and materials.
While drawing the human figure can be one of the most challenging artistic pursuits, once you’ve mastered it, every other form of drawing will feel effortless!
