The Beginners Level 1 course is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of Japanese.

The Beginners Level 2 course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for one term or who have completed approximately 20 hours of tuition.

The Japanese Beginners Level 3 course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for two terms or who have completed approximately 40 hours of tuition.

The Lower Improvers course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for three or four terms or who have completed approximately 60 hours of tuition.

The Lower Improvers course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for three or four terms or who have completed approximately 60 hours of tuition.

The Advanced course is suitable for students who have already studied Japanese for approximately two or three years. Students need to be able to read and write Hiragana and Katakana confidently, and who have learnt approximately 150 Kanji.

The Latin Beginners Level 1 course is suitable for students who have no previous knowledge of Latin.

The British Sign Language Level 1 Award course is a qualification for learners wanting to communicate in British Sign Language on a range of everyday themes.
