The Life Drawing course welcomes students of all abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner to life drawing who is looking to learn the very basics of drawing or an experienced artist wanting to develop their skills, this is the perfect course for you.
Enrol now for the available days
The key concepts of the life drawing will be covered in this course. This will include how to draw correct proportions and perspectives, through different methods of mark-making.
Each session will feature a demonstration of how to apply a key concept, followed by participants practising these by drawing the models in short and long poses.
By the end of this course, you will have learned how to look more effectively, be more analytical and question what you are seeing.
You will learn the fundamental skills of how to observe the proportions, tones and complex structures of the human form. You will then translate these observations into creative artistic drawings. These will be created in a variety of styles, using different techniques and media.
While drawing a living, breathing person is certainly difficult to accomplish, mastering it will mean that creating any other form of drawing will be a doddle!
