The Level 3 Counselling course consists of three units: Skills, Theory and Developing Reflective Practice in Counselling. The programme is taught over three terms and is the second stage of a professional counselling training programme.

The course consists of three mandatory units:
Learners will consolidate existing practice and develop additional counselling skills in preparation for working with clients in a supervised counselling placement. The Unit is also helpful for those with existing counselling skills training seeking to incorporate enhanced counselling skills into related employment or voluntary activities. The focus will be on developing a therapeutic relationship and utilising counselling skills in a more informed and reflective manner.
Internal assessment: Students will deliver three counselling sessions and must maintain an ongoing journal.
Learners must be aged 16 or over and possess a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills consisting of at least 60 Guided Learning Hours.

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
If you are booking a Level 3 or 4 Counselling course, you will be able to pay for this using a Direct Debit, which you will set up before the course starts in September. Please check the relevant course pages for details.
