Chinese Writing for Beginners
The Chinese Writing for Beginners course is suitable for students who are new to Chinese studies or who have a beginners' level of competence. This course is also suitable for students who are already at a reasonable level of oral competence but who would like to study the Chinese writing system.

About the course
The Chinese Writing for Beginners course primarily develops writing skills in Chinese. Students will also develop their reading and speaking skills, alongside their understanding of the Chinese writing system. The course feeds into a continuation course in the next term.
Chinese Writing for Beginners aims to build students’ confidence in writing Chinese characters. Students will learn to identify radicals (base components of characters) and to write using the correct stroke order. There will be opportunities to practise pronunciation alongside the focus on writing.

The course is a lively and interactive programme which is suitable for students who have studied Easy Steps to Chinese Book 2 up to lesson 13 or are at a similar level.
Arabic for Beginners - Level 1
The course introduces students to Arabic language and culture in a fun and effective way. Each session will include a range of learning activities, including work in pairs and groups, so that students practise new vocabulary and linguistic structures in a lively and varied way.
Korean for Beginners - Level 2
The Beginners Level 2 course is suitable for students who have already studied Korean for one term or who have completed approximately 20 hours of tuition.

Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
