Salary: From £32,178 to £49,725 FTE, depending on qualifications and experience

Contract: Fixed term, part time (approx 40%)

About this role

We are looking for a well-qualified, passionate and innovative teacher to join our highly successful and experienced Humanities department. We are particularly looking for a teacher who is committed to inspiring young people with a love for and a confidence in their subject, who are open to adopting a range of creative pedagogical approaches.

Initially, this will be a fixed term part-time role for the first term of the academic year, but there is potential for this to extend and to grow into a full-time permanent position.

The post is suitable for experienced teachers or Early Career Teachers.

Dependent on teaching experience to date, the posts will be paid from £32,178 to £49,725, rising incrementally, subject to satisfactory annual review. Full-time teachers teach a maximum of 20 x 65min teaching periods in the college week. It is envisaged that this post will start on 8 periods of teaching (40%), but could increase to 60% or even to full-time depending on need.
