With the continued College growth and the value that we place on the development of all students beyond their academic studies, we are now able to offer the exciting new role of Head of Future Ready programme that reports into the Vice Principal, Student Progression and Support. This role will begin from September 2025.

Job details

Salary: Pro rata salary from £28,644 up to £32,525 depending on experience and qualifications + RA6 (£5,760 per annum). Additionally a time allowance of 4 periods.

Contract: Permanent; full time; term-time plus 10 additional days

About the role

The role will involve the development and progression of our Future Ready programme, our internal PSHE programme delivered by Progress and Support Tutors. The programme is designed to equip students with the skills to develop and thrive, both during their time at the College and in their next appropriate step. The core parts of the role will be leading on the programme, including designing the Scheme of Work for the academic year, creating and sharing classroom Future Ready sessions and organising and leading on our Whole Cohort Presentations (WCPs). The WCP programme is an exciting range of external and internal speakers delivering on a varied range of topics including Black History Month, Sexual Health, Drug Awareness, Artificial Intelligence, Career Progression and Sustainability.
